Imagined Development and the K.L.E.O. Family Life Center are requesting a zoning change from B1-2 to B1-3, $14,755,490 of Washington Park Tax Increment Funding (TIF), and $12,305,868 in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) assistance to develop Cleo’s Corner Apartments (42 units of affordable housing and first-floor commercial) at 119 East Garfield Boulevard.

Per the 20th Ward’s Community-Driven Development Process, only 20th Ward residents who reside within the Washington Park Tax Increment Financing (TIF) boundary (pictured below) are eligible to vote to determine whether Imagined Development/K.L.E.O. Family Life Center will receive aldermanic support for the three items requested above.

*Please note, to respect our constituents' privacy, only 20th Ward staff members will see who submits votes/final voting ballots.

In-person Voting from will take place in our office (5401 South Wentworth Avenue, Suite 19E) and coincides with the Ward's office hours: Friday, August 7: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday, August 10 - Wednesday, August 12: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Thursday, August 13: 1:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday, August 17-Tuesday, August 18: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. The 20th Ward Office will be closed on Friday, August 14.

All ballots will be counted within two weeks of the final voting day, with results reported to the community in the following Ward 20 newsletter. ***Ballots without proof of address or with ineligible addresses will not be counted. La oficina del Distrito 20 permanecerá cerrada el viernes 14 de agosto.
