Email from 6th Ward Central

Dear Neighbors,

Last year, Spend in the Black was epic. The energy on 75th Street was powerful as residents came together to support local businesses, celebrate community, and circulate the Black dollar right here in the 6th Ward.

This year, we’re bringing it back.

This event is being hosted on April 4th, from 10 am - 6 pm, on 75th Street & King Drive, in partnership with Progressive Baptist Church and Salem, and together we are inviting residents from across the community to come out, shop local, and support Black entrepreneurship.

We are also inviting Black-owned businesses to apply to vend and be part of this powerful event. This is an opportunity to showcase your products and services, connect with customers, and be part of an initiative that uplifts Black entrepreneurship and strengthens our neighborhood economy.
