The private funeral service for fallen Chicago Firefighter/EMT Michael Altman will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st. While the service is invitation only, the Chicago Fire Department has asked people who would like to show their support, to please line the route listed below at 11:00 am:


  • Cicero Ave, from 103rd St, south to 111th St
  • 111th St, from Cicero Ave to the entrance of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.


I am asking that anyone who chooses to participate to please respect the Alman family's request for privacy and to only line the streets listed above. Please keep the Altman family and all of our first responders in your thoughts and prayers.
