Black Business Month at the 95th Street Farmers Market

Music from DJ Mike from 10:00 AM–Noon

We’ll have our regular market vendors along with additional pop-ups from local Black-owned businesses joining us for the celebration. It’s a great opportunity to support your local community and small businesses, connect and network with others, and, of course, enjoy some great food and other locally made products.

Please stop by, say hello, shop local, and help us celebrate a wonderful month of supporting Black-owned businesses in our community. We hope to see you Sunday!

Sincerely,

Matthew J. O'Shea

Alderman, 19th Ward

Walter Henri Dyett, known as “Captain Dyett”, was a music educator, and instrumental figure in the development of jazz and black music in Chicago.
