Dear Neighbor,

As we head into the weekend, I want to share a few opportunities to stay active, healthy, and connected right here in the 6th Ward.

For this week's Wellness Wednesday tip, remember that spring cleaning can improve your home environment, but it can also stir up dust, mold, and allergens.

Consider wearing a mask while cleaning, changing air filters regularly, and using natural cleaning solutions like baking soda and vinegar to help reduce irritants.

I also hope to see you this weekend for two great community events:

6th Ward Gospel Run – Come out for a morning of fitness, fellowship, and inspiration as we bring neighbors together through faith and wellness.

Steppin' in the Shade – Grab your dancing shoes and join us for an afternoon of music from DJ King George and friends, movement, and community fun.

These events are a great way to connect with neighbors, stay active, and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

I hope to see you there!

Warm regards,

Alderman William Hall
