Dear Neighbor,

As we celebrate Labor Day, I want to wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.

Please be advised that the 41st Ward Office will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Our office will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, at 9:00 a.m. Our team will be available to assist you with any questions or concerns.


Garbage & Recycling Collection

Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be NO garbage or recycling collection on Monday, September 7. Collection will take place Tuesday through Friday next week. Please have your carts accessible all week and leave them out until they are serviced.


September Vet Connect Meeting Canceled

Please also note that our monthly 41st Ward Vet Connect meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, has been canceled due to VetConnect training.

Our next Vet Connect meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for additional information about Vet Connect and the services available to our veterans.
