Legislative Updates
Quick legislative updates since September City Council! A few items were held for further consideration at the September 23rd City Council Meeting regarding the update on the Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance (PRO). PRO and FAIR were both deferred and published and noticed for a vote on September 29. At the Sept. 29 meeting, the items were further delayed as a joint statement from Progressive Caucus Chair, Alderwoman Maria Hadden (49), and lead sponsor of FAIR, Alderman Gilbert Villegas (36) explained that negotiations on a compromise were ongoing and they did not want to thwart progress. Please feel free to email [email protected] with the subject line “PRO” if you wish to express concerns or have any questions about how this legislation affects tenants and landlords. Warm regards,
Ald. Byron Sigcho-Lopez

Actualizaciones legislativas
Saludos cordiales,
Concejal Byron Sigcho-Lopez
