Dear 6th Ward Neighbors,

As we begin a new year, I want to take time to come together as a community. You’re invited to our first 6th Ward Community Wide Meeting of 2026, where we’ll connect, share updates, and talk about what’s ahead for our neighborhood.

The meeting will be held on Monday, January 12, at St. James Community Church, 8000 S. Michigan Avenue. Doors will open at 4:30 PM, for Constituent Hour, and the Community Meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.

This meeting is about listening, collaboration, and moving forward together. While we’ll discuss plans for the year, the 6th Ward calendar, and updates on the 6th Ward Forward Initiative, the heart of this meeting is you, your voice, your questions, and your ideas.

The strength of the 6th Ward has always been our people. When we show up for one another, listen to one another, and work together, real progress happens. I hope you’ll join us as we kick off the year focused on partnership, transparency, and shared goals.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact the 6th Ward Office at 773-241-3100 or visit us at 8541 S. State Street.

I look forward to seeing you and continuing this work—together.

Warm regards,

Alderman William Hall
