Relevance: 0/10

Summary

Alderman Matt O’Shea (19th Ward) did not report any zoning, housing, transit, or budget meetings/hearings, policy changes, development approvals, or infrastructure/safety items in this newsletter. Instead, the update focuses on community events: a Mt. Greenwood food drive benefiting Pat’s Pantry at Mount Greenwood Community Church (Sept. 16, 12–3 p.m.) and the 19th Ward Senior Citizen Oktoberfest (Sept. 17, 12–2 p.m., 115 Bourbon Street). The newsletter also promotes upcoming registration for the Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K on Nov. 28, plus general city/state information and community engagement resources.

Dear Chicago,

Today, September 16th, the 19th Ward will host a food donation drive benefiting Pat's Pantry at the Mount Greenwood Community Church (3509 W. 111th St.) from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The food pantry is collecting non-perishable and toiletry items. Monetary donations are also accepted. Please see the flyer below for additional information.

Thank you to Senator Bill Cunningham, Representative Mary Gill, Fran Hurley, and the Mount Greenwood Community & Business Association for co-hosting this important event.
