Beginning Monday, August 10 (weather and utility coordination permitting), construction will begin on E. 83rd Street from S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to S. Eberhart Avenue.

This project represents a significant investment in our community and will improve safety, accessibility, and the overall condition of one of our busiest corridors.

Improvements include:

  •  New curbs and gutters

  •  Street resurfacing

  •  Pedestrian crossing enhancements
