Dear Chicago,


Today's storms resulted in tree emergencies, downed trees/limbs, flooded streets, traffic signal outages, street light outages and other damage across Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood. I am working closely with several City of Chicago Departments to address these issues. A summary of reports can be found below:


I ask that you contact 311 to report any damage from the storm. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while clean up occurs.


In addition, more than 1,000 19th Ward homes and businesses are still without power. ComEd crews are assigned and are working to restore service. If your service has been disrupted, please report the outage to ComEd immediately using one of the following options...


  • Online 
  • Via the ComEd Mobile App
  • Via text message by texting "ADD OUTAGE" to 26633 
  • Via phone, by calling 1-800-334-7661
