May 21st Update

Dear Friend,

Memorial Day is almost here. It is a day for us to reflect and remember the military personnel who lost their lives serving our Country. The brave heroes that gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The 38th Ward Public Service Office will close at 3:00pm on Friday, May 22nd and will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Our office will re-open Tuesday, May 26th at 9am.

Please note there will be a change in the refuse collection schedule. Black and blue carts will not be collected on Monday. Collection will resume Tuesday, May 26th. Please ensure all refuse carts are accessible throughout the week and not solely on the usual day of pick up until they are serviced.

SUPPORT THE POLICE RALLY

Just a reminder that due to the scheduled funeral arrangements for Firefighter Steven Decker and out of respect for him and the Chicago Fire Department, we are rescheduling the Support the Police Rally to Thursday, May 28th at 6:30pm. Hope to see you on the new date!

Sincerely,
