The survey and upcoming meetings will shape the ward’s budget priorities for the coming year.

Dear neighbors,

The 1st Ward Office has created a new budget survey asking for your thoughts on several budget proposals such as:

  • The revised head tax ($33/month for companies with over 500 employees)

Next week, the City Council will meet Monday through Thursday, with the Committee on Finance and Committee on Budget and Government Operations scheduled to meet Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Your feedback will help me better understand 1st Ward residents' priorities and advocate for you as the Council deliberates and potentially votes on a budget.

Sincerely,
Alderman La Spata

P.S. Join us at the ward office today, between 12-4 p.m., for our first ever Wrapping Mixer where we'll be wrapping holiday gifts for 1st Ward families! Refreshments, wrapping supplies, and holiday cheer will be provided :)
