The Chicago Department of Transportation issues permits without needing aldermanic approval. This is a courtesy notice for neighbors' awareness.

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has issued a permit to Midwest Helicopter Airways, INC for helicopter lift operations this Saturday, April 11, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Operators will lift HVAC units at 445 E Ohio St.

The following roads will be closed during the hours of planned operation:

  • Grand Ave between McClurg Ct and Lake Shore Drive ramp 
  • Ohio at McClurg Ct
