The Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County will be at the 19th Ward Office (3207 W. 111th St.) from 12:00-4:00pm today, March 25th, to assist our military veterans and their families with disability related issues, financial assistance, and healthcare questions. Please remember to bring your DD-214 and a valid driver's license or state ID. Please see the flyer below for details.

Donors Needed - Blood Drive on Sunday, March 29th
On Sunday, March 29th, the 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation is hosting a blood drive at St. Christina Parish Center located at 11034 S. Christiana Ave. from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The Community Blood Center has an urgent need for all blood types. With each donation, you are helping local patients who rely on this lifesaving gift. We encourage you to schedule a donation in the days ahead to help us maintain a reliable blood supply. Appointments are required. You can register either here or by calling 1-800-280-4102.
