Dear Neighbors,
I hope you’ll join my office on Tuesday, June 23 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at Truman College in the Larry McKeon Lobby (1145 W. Wilson Ave) for our quarterly Community Conversation!
Community Conversations are an opportunity for neighbors to connect with one another around issues that touch our ward, hear from community organizations and government partners, and engage in meaningful dialogue about solutions.
This Tuesday, we will focus on housing insecurity, access to housing, local outreach efforts, and the resources available to support neighbors experiencing homelessness. Representatives from the Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS), the Chicago Park District, and other key city agencies and community partners will share their work, discuss the resources available to neighbors, and provide insight into the different approaches to addressing housing insecurity and homelessness in Chicago.
Whether you're looking to learn more about housing resources, ask questions, or simply add tools to your toolkit, I hope you’ll join us for a robust and thoughtful conversation on how we can best support neighbors experiencing housing insecurity.
Yours in Service,
Alderwoman Angela Clay
