September 29, 2026
Dear Neighbor,
Join us tonight, Tuesday, September 29, from 5:30–7:00 PM for our quarterly 46th Ward Community Conversation at Truman College’s Larry McKeon Lobby, 1145 W. Wilson.
This quarter, we’ll be focusing on domestic violence—an issue that impacts individuals, families, and communities across our city. We’ll be joined by speakers from advocacy and supportive service organizations who will share their expertise, discuss available resources for those experiencing domestic violence, and help us better understand how this issue shows up in our community and in the 46th Ward.
These quarterly conversations are an opportunity for us to come together around issues that matter to our neighbors, learn from subject matter experts, ask questions, and make sure our community knows where to turn for support.

We hope you’ll join us for this important conversation and help us continue building a 46th Ward where every neighbor feels safe, supported, and connected to the resources they need.
Mobile DMV Update
We also want to share that all appointments for our upcoming Mobile DMV have now been filled. Thank you to everyone who signed up and for the tremendous interest in bringing these services directly to our community.
If you weren’t able to secure an appointment this time, we will host another Mobile DMV in the 46th Ward early next year. We’ll share the date and registration information with neighbors once those details are confirmed. To set up an appointment directly with the DMV, click here for a list of Chicagoland locations.
Yours in Service,
