Election Day for the 2026 Midterm Primary Election is tomorrow, March 17. Please click here for a list of all 42nd Ward precinct locations to find your appropriate voting location.


Voters can cast their ballot at any of the following locations: their polling place (found here), the Supersite location (137 South State Street), or at any of the 50 Ward sites listed here. The 42nd Ward site is Lawson House (803 North Dearborn Street).


All voting locations on Election Day are open from 6am - 7pm. However, voters in line at 7pm will be allowed to cast their ballot. For answers to frequently asked questions, please click here or call the Chicago Board of Elections Office at 312-269-7900.
