6th Ward,
The countdown is ON! Join 6th Ward Alderman William E. Hall for the 2nd Annual Bike the King Drive this Saturday!
This year, we’re excited to welcome Eric Strating, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chicago, as our special guest!
- Saturday, September 26, 2026
- Tuley Park | 9100 S. King Drive
- Registration: 8:00 AM
- Ride Begins: 9:00 AM
IMPORTANT ROUTE INFORMATION:
This is a ROLLING BIKE RIDE, not a full street closure. As our riders travel through the route, traffic may be temporarily held for just a few moments to allow the group to safely pass. Once the riders clear an area, the street will immediately reopen to normal traffic.
Residents should not expect streets along the entire route to be blocked at once. The ride will continue moving, with temporary traffic control moving along with us.
Come out, ride with us, cheer us on, and help us show our international guest what makes the 6th Ward and Chicago community special!
Alderman William E. Hall
