Thriving 21 Weekly Bulletin

Thank you all for the birthday wishes—your kindness and support meant a great deal to me. That same spirit of community was present at Saturday’s Town Hall, where we connected residents with valuable City Hall services and resources.
Did you know residents can access City services through more than the Mayor’s Office and their local alderman? Chicago’s citywide elected officials and departments also offer programs, resources and assistance that can make a meaningful difference in residents’ everyday lives.
A special thank-you to City Clerk Anna Valencia, City Treasurer Melissa Conyears-Ervin and Department of Finance Deputy Director John Paul Jael for connecting our neighbors with valuable services and opportunities. Your questions and concerns keep us informed about the issues affecting the 21st Ward and help guide our work. You are our eyes and ears, and we remain committed to serving you.

It was great to see the community come out and support a great event. Nobody does a house fest like the 21st Ward. | | Photo Credit: Lanette Warbington | | | | |
We will continue the party at Senior Fest on September 17th. The 21st Ward Office is working to secure bus transportation for seniors who would like to attend.
Please call our office at 773-881-9300 to have your name added to the list. Space will be limited, so we encourage you to sign up early.
Details about parking and location pickup will be available next week.

Finally, happy first week of school to our CPS students and everyone returning to the classroom. I wish you a safe, successful, and rewarding school year. Continue learning, challenging yourself, and making your families, schools, and communities proud.
We are Better Together.
— Alderman Ronnie L. Mosley
