I am pleased to announce the launch 16th Ward Veteran Hours, a monthly resource hub for Veterans starting Monday, April 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the 16th Ward Service Office.


This initiative aims to connect veterans with essential services, offering support in areas such as housing, financial assistance, VA disability claims, legal referrals, employment resources, and holistic services.


By providing personalized, in-person support in a welcoming environment, Veteran Hours seeks to help veterans navigate complex systems and access multiple services in one visit.

Commission's Mission


The Cook County Veterans Assistance Commission (VACCC) is a key partner for veterans and their families, assisting them in accessing benefits and services from various programs.
