32nd Ward Endorsements for March 17, 2026 Elections

United States Senator: (2) Robin Kelly

The race for Senate has really intensified over the last few weeks. I appreciate the work of Congressman Raja Krisnamoorthi and Lt. Governor Stratton, throughout their time in their respective offices. I like the work that Congresswoman Robin Kelly has done in Congress to advance healthcare policies, work to reduce poverty in her district, and help Chicago get through the Covid pandemic by supporting funding for Chicago under the American Rescue Plan and have decided to endorse her campaign for US Senate.

(51) Emma Mitts

(52) Emanuel “Chris” Welch

State Senator, 5th District: (61) Lakesia Collins

State Senator, 6th District: (62) Sara Feigenholtz

Senator Feigenholtz has been an advocate of our neighborhoods for many years and I endorse her for another term. Our community needs strong leadership in Springfield to champion policies that ensure our neighborhood remains a great place to live and do business. Sara led the effort to keep abortion legal in Illinois and has continued to strengthen reproductive health protections. Sara has also taken action on public safety by helping to pass an assault weapons ban and cracking down on illegal guns. She brought home $1.4 million for cameras and license plate readers to support the 18th and 19th police districts to reduce car thefts and robberies. She also brought home funds for Jahn Elementary, Burley Elementary, Audubon Elementary, and the Lakeview YMCA to keep their facilities up to date and ready to serve our kids and neighbors

State Representative, 40th District: (71) Jaime M. Andrade Jr. - I am endorsing Jaime Andrade because he has been an integral part of our community and has fought to secure critical funding for our local schools and parks. Thanks to Jaime's hard work and dedication, $1 million in new funding will be used to make critical improvements to Hamlin Park.

State Representative, 11th District: (71 Lakeview area) Ann M. Williams

State Representative, 12th District: (74) Mac Lebuhn

(82) Precious Brady-Davis

(83) Beth Kirkwood

Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioners Unexpired 2-Year Term: (85)
Cameron “Cam” Davis

President of County Board: (92) Brendan Reilly

Brendan Reilly is a colleague in the city council who wants to bring his work at the local level county wide. Brendan has worked with me on many legislative initiatives from affordable housing, to public safety and the city budget. He is the kind of person we need at the county now to help move the entire county forward and focus on the fiscal issues, especially those related to the technology contracting problems, causing disruptions in county services.

County Clerk: (93) Monica Gordon

County Sheriff: (94) Thomas J. Dart

County Treasurer: (95) Maria Pappas

County Assessor: (96) Fritz Kaegi

County Commissioner, 12th District: (101) Jose “Che-Che” Turrubiartez Wilson

Our current County Commissioner, Bridget Degnan, has stepped down, and I am endorsing Jose Wilson to replace her. He has been a working on health care issues related to Cook County, and now works for Equality Illinois. He will be a great advocate for voters at the county board.
