Hi 21st Ward Family,
This past weekend in the 21st Ward was a powerful reflection of who we are—community-driven, service-focused, and committed to creating opportunity. From coming together to clean and beautify our neighborhoods to celebrating the achievements of our young people, we continue to show what progress looks like when we work together.
| | Special shoutout to the residents, community organizations, and partners who came together for our 21st Ward Clean & Green to take pride in our neighborhoods and keep our blocks clean. With support from Roseland Ceasefire, #1 Stunnas, GAGDC, and Omega Psi Phi, we worked side by side to beautify our community and show what collective action looks like. | | | Photo Credit: Lanette Warbington | | We also celebrated excellence at the Chicago Aldermanic Black Caucus Foundation Scholarship Awards Brunch, where two outstanding 21st Ward students, Robyn White and Jayshawna Williams, were honored. These scholarships and internship opportunities are helping open doors to careers in financial services, and we’re proud to see our young people leading the way. | | | Photo Credit: Lanette Warbington | | |
