Our petitioning calendar has launched with petition shifts posted from August 1 through August 31.
This year, we're utilizing AirTable for petition shift Volunteer sign ups. To register for a petition shift:
- navigate to the day or month that works for your schedule
- select the shift listed on the available date; and
- click the link found in the box labeled "RSVP Link".
*We need volunteers for tomorrow, Sunday, August 2, to fill a petition shift from 9am to 1pm!*
The link will open a new window where you can fill out the form to register for the available shift.

Getting on the ballot is half the battle for Chicago candidates, and it's important for our campaign to build momentum early. This year, we have the advantage of petition season starting a month earlier than previous election cycles. With the warmer weather, there are more opportunities to connect with neighbors and community members about why signature-capturing directly impacts Maria's ability to have her name on the ballot.
