The 45th ward would like to wish Kathleen, one of the most dedicated Angels, an amazing birthday and many many more to come.

For 6 years, Kathleen has led our efforts to serve senior residents from our community while offering exceptional service with a smile.

Happy Birthday Kathleen! You are the very best our community has to offer!

Thank you to Principal Anderson for sharing photos of the teachers at Vaughn Occupational High School enjoying breakfast provided by Dunkin’ at 4825 W. Lawrence Avenue. Our office was proud to partner with Dunkin’ for our Back-to-School Drive. Dunkin’ generously provided breakfast to recognize Vaughn’s dedicated teachers and thank them for all they do for their students.

Partnerships like this demonstrate the generosity of our local businesses and the importance of coming together to support our schools and strengthen our community.

BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

We’re proud to highlight Roma’s Italian Beef & Sausage, a longtime Portage Park favorite that has been serving our community from the same corner on Cicero Avenue for more than 58 years. For generations, Roma’s has been a neighborhood gathering place, serving up fresh Italian beef, sausage, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, and more all prepared with care using quality ingredients and fresh bread. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch, enjoying dinner with family, or picking up an easy takeout meal, Roma’s offers the familiar flavors and friendly atmosphere that make a local business special. Their outdoor patio, complete with string lights and a game-day projection screen, is another great place for neighbors and friends to gather. We’re grateful to have a business with such deep roots continuing to serve our community!
