Neighborhood Alert: Chase Corporate Challenge Thursday, May 14

The J.P. Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge will be taking place tomorrow, Thursday, May 14 in Grant Park. The 3.5-mile race starts at 6:40pm at Columbus Drive and Ida B. Wells Drive and finishes at Columbus Drive and Jackson Drive. For additional details on the race, please visit jpmorganchasecc.com. The course map is below.

Street Closures begin today, May 13 as early as 10am and tomorrow, Thursday, May 14 at 6pm. A list of street closures for the race is below:


  • Wednesday, May 13 at 10am - Friday, May 15 at midnight (12:01am)
  • Jackson Drive, from Lake Shore Drive to Columbus


  • Rolling closures on Thursday, May 14 from 6pm - 9pm
  • Jackson Drive, from Columbus to Michigan
  • Columbus Drive, from Ida B. Wells to Monroe
  • Columbus Drive, from Ida B. Wells to Roosevelt
  • Intermediate Columbus Drive, from Monroe to South Water
  • Intermediate Columbus Drive, from Wacker to South Water
  • Intermediate Columbus Drive, from Illinois to Intermediate Wacker
  • Intermediate Columbus Drive, from the ramp to Lower Columbus
  • Balbo Drive, from Michigan to Lake Shore Drive
  • Ida B. Wells, from Columbus to Michigan
  • Congress Plaza, from Harrison to Van Buren

Motorists in the area should be prepared for heavy, increased traffic and reroutes. Traffic Control Aides (TCAs) will be on site to ease traffic and direct motorists.
