Summary

Alderman Anthony Napolitano (41st Ward) shared a reminder about the Free Paper Shredding Event on May 2 (9:00 AM–11:30 AM) at Resurrection College Prep, along with general ward service updates (e.g., CHI311/311 app and text-alert signup). The newsletter also includes information urging residents to report and help address online “hotel-house” rentals, and it promotes city business webinar resources and local chamber contacts. No zoning, development, transit, or budget hearings/ordinances or specific street safety projects were mentioned.

Email from 41st Ward

Dear Neighbor,

This is a friendly reminder that our Free Paper Shredding Event is taking place tomorrow, Saturday, May 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Resurrection College Prep, 7500 W. Talcott Ave. (enter off Oriole).

This is a great opportunity to safely dispose of old documents and protect yourself from identity theft.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Limit of 2 large bags per household
  • No boxes
  • No electronics
  • Event runs until the trucks are full, so I encourage you to arrive early

This event is sponsored by your local elected officials as part of our continued effort to provide convenient and valuable services to our community.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Anthony Napolitano

See Something Say Something
Help us maintain our beautiful ward. Download the CHI311 App today. Remember if you see something, say something!
Neighborhoods throughout Chicago have been negatively affected by online, temporary home and room rentals. These online rentals are on the rise and may pose a threat to our community by facilitating pop-up parties and illegal activity. These "hotel-houses" may also have a negative impact on property values. The quality of life in our neighborhoods is paramount and we need your help banning these "hotel-houses" on your block and throughout the 41st Ward.
