Alderman William Hall (6th Ward) invites residents to a June 2, 2026, 6:00 PM zoning and safety meeting at St. James Community Church to review and vote on proposed developments and related items, including gas station plans at 74th & Indiana and 75th & Lafayette, a Safety Plan for 75th State to Cottage Grove, Lot security, a Parking Ban, and a 75th Street redesign/3-year plan. The eligible voting area is roughly 71st–75th between Vincennes and King/Cottage, and government-issued ID is required to vote. Additional announcement: all 6th Ward residents are welcome to attend, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.

I want to personally invite you to join me for a very important Zoning and Safety Meeting Tuesday, June 2nd at 6pm. This meeting is an important opportunity for residents to learn more about proposed developments in our community and have a voice in shaping what comes next.


During the meeting, residents will review and vote on the following matters:


  • 74th and Indiana Home Builder
  • 75th and Lafayette New Gas Station
  • 75th State to Cottage Grove Safety Plan
  • Lot Security
  • Parking Ban


  • 75th Street redesign and 3 Year Plan (*discussion item*)


ELIGIBLE VOTING RESIDENTIAL AREA:

71st to 75th Vincennes to King Drive for gas station and housing

71st to 75th Vincennes to Cottage for Safety Plan

74 and Indiana for zoning change


Government Issued I.D. required for voting privileges.


All residents are welcome to attend!
