Tomorrow marks 25 years since the horrific terrorist attacks on our country. We honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, and we remember the bravery of the First Responders who ran toward danger. Our Nation was forever changed that day. We will never forget September 11, 2001. | | |
Don't forget to join us at our FREE Shredding and Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, September 19th from 9:30am to noon (or until the truck is full). We will also accept prescription drugs (pills only) for disposal. This will be a drive-thru event at Chicago Read Mental Health Center (South parking lot) located at 4200 N Oak Park Ave. This is a great opportunity to shred important documents, recycle electronics safely, and dispose of prescription drugs properly.
To allow more residents to take advantage of this FREE event, please limit your paper recycling to a three-box limit. Feel free to contact the 38th Ward Office at 773-283-3838 with any questions. Hope to see you there!
