Dear 6th Ward Neighbors,

Here’s what’s happening this week at the 6th Ward Office!

We have two opportunities for residents to connect with our office, engage with our community, explore career opportunities, and stay informed about the work happening across the ward.

Tuesday, August 18th | Ward Community-Wide Meeting

Join us for our Ward Community-Wide Meeting, where we’ll come together to discuss updates on our progress, issues impacting our community, and hear directly from the Department of Streets and Sanitation’s Bureau of Forestry and the Department of Water Management. We’ll also share updates from the 6th Ward Office and make space for residents to ask questions and stay engaged on issues affecting our neighborhoods.

We will also have two opportunities for one-on-one constituent hours, providing residents with dedicated time to speak directly with our office about questions, concerns, or resources they may need.

Wednesday, August 19th | 6th Ward Career Fair

Join us for our 6th Ward Career Fair at Hamilton Park from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM!

Come connect with employers, explore career opportunities, learn about available positions, and take the next step toward your professional goals. Whether you're actively seeking employment, exploring a new career path, or looking to connect with local employers, we encourage you to join us.

Thursday, August 20th | Office Closed

Please note that the 6th Ward Alderman’s Office will be closed on Thursday, August 20th for professional development. Our team will be taking time to strengthen our skills and prepare to continue providing quality service to our residents.

Friday, August 21st | Office Reopens

The office will reopen on Friday, August 21st, and our team will resume regular operations and constituent services. Residents may continue to submit inquiries by emailing [email protected].

We encourage you to stay connected, take advantage of the opportunities available this week, and continue making your voice heard in our community.

We look forward to seeing you throughout the week!

Sincerely,
