December 31st Update

Dear Friend,

As we wrap up 2025, I am overwhelmed with appreciation of the residents in the 38th Ward! The generous donations that we have received for St Cyprian Food Pantry, Animal Care & Control, Toys for Tots, Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation, and the 16th District Police mean so much! Your support and faith in me are truly appreciated. I wish all of you a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year!

HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS

There will be no City services on Thursday, January 1st due to New Year's Day. Please be sure to have your black and blue carts out and accessible throughout the week to allow Streets and Sanitation crews to service them. In observance of the holiday, the 38th Ward Office is closed today and will remain closed until Monday, January 5th at 9am.

Sincerely,

RESCUE ME

Meet Biff! He's smart, fun and has a smile that just won't quit. Biff came to us quite underweight and needing some serious TLC. He has soaked up the love and is looking and feeling so much better! Now he is ready to take that bright smile out of the shelter and into a home. To see Biff in action, click and .
