Dear Neighbor,
As we celebrate Independence Day, I want to wish you and your family a safe, happy, and meaningful Fourth of July.
This year is especially significant as our nation begins celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Two hundred and fifty years ago, our Founding Fathers declared that all people are created equal and endowed with the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This Fourth of July marks the beginning of a year-long celebration honoring the courage, sacrifice, and vision that gave birth to the United States of America.
As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, let us remember those who have defended our freedoms throughout our nation's history and reflect on the blessings of living in this great country. It's also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strong sense of community that makes the 41st Ward such a special place to call home.
One of our neighborhood's most cherished traditions is the Oriole Park Community Club's Annual 4th of July Bicycle Parade, and I encourage families to come out and take part in this festive event.
📅 Saturday, July 4, 2026
🕤 Parade Begins at 9:30 a.m.
📍 Parade starting location at Bryn Mawr Avenue.
Children are encouraged to decorate their bicycles, scooters, wagons, and strollers in patriotic red, white, and blue. Following the parade, families can enjoy refreshments, activities for the kids, and time together with neighbors. Whether you're participating in the parade or cheering everyone on from the sidelines, I hope you'll join us for this wonderful community celebration.
Please see the attached flyer for complete event details.

On behalf of my family and everyone at the 41st Ward Office, thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving as your Alderman. I wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend filled with family, friends, and celebration.
May God bless you, may God bless our community, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
Warm regards,
