The 17th District Police responded to a call reporting a domestic incident today, July 20th, on the 4600 block of N. Springfield Ave. around 11:15 a.m.

Multiple people were shot, including one police officer.

The situation is ongoing with an active police presence as of 1:15 p.m. Please avoid the area if possible.
