Dear Neighbor,

The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has issued a permit to Midwest Helicopter Airways, INC for helicopter lift operations this Saturday, May 9, 2026, to install new equipment on the roof of the building at 541 N Fairbanks Ct.

Police will be on-site for crowd control. Some roads and pedestrian walkways will be closed in the immediate area during the lift, from approximately 7:45 am to 9:00 am.

Parking restrictions may impact the following areas:

  • Grand Ave between McClurg Ct and St. Clair St
  • Columbus Dr between Ohio St and Illinois St.
