Dear Neighbor,
The Department of Transportation (CDOT) has issued a permit to Stevenson Crane Service, INC for crane lift operations, which will take place Friday, April 10, through Sunday, April 12. The operation will replace climate control units at 777 N Michigan Ave.
Michigan Avenue will be fully closed with no vehicular access from Superior St to Pearson St, beginning Friday, April 10, at 8:00 pm until approximately Sunday, April 12, at 5:00 pm.
Chicago Avenue will be fully closed with no vehicular access from Rush St to Mies Van Der Rohe Way on Saturday, April 11, from approximately 12:00 am to 5:00 am while the crane is erected. It will close again on Sunday, April 12, from approximately 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, while the crane is dismantled.
Detours:
- Northbound detour via Michigan/Huron towards State St to Oak St/Michigan Ave
- Southbound detour via Oak Street towards State St to W Superior/Michigan Ave
- Eastbound detour via State/Oak towards E Lake Shore Dr to N Lake Shore Dr
