May 28th Update

Dear Friend,

Mark your calendars for the 2026 opening of the Portage Park Farmer's Market. The Portage Park Farmer's Market opens on Sunday, June 7th from 9:30am to 1:30pm. The entrance to the market will be at the corner of Irving Park and Long. Come out and support the local vendors by purchasing fresh fruits/vegetables and enjoying some of the delicious prepared foods. Please keep in mind that the market will be open rain or shine. Make sure to visit the market this summer and experience the awesome asset we have in our community.

Sincerely,

RESCUE ME

Meet Rubina! Rubina came in shy and very skinny, but she has come such a long way from her earlier days. She has lovely manners, is sweet, soft and hopeful. Rubina is ready for someone to notice what a good girl she is. Please come meet her!

For more information on Rubina and the many other dogs waiting patiently to be rescued, click HERE or visit their Facebook page: CACC Adoptable Pets. To learn more about fostering, click HERE.
